Of course the quick thing I rattled off in an afternoon would turn out to be the first contest design of mine that turned out to actually be fun. Ran a for-real playtest last night, found some rough edges, but the basic conceit is solid.

Congrats! I’m still struggling with rule writing despite having already a solid idea that mixes 3 ingredients up good. Generally it’s vice versa (having a cool mechanic but no idea how to make a game out of it).
The ingredients are really odd this year.
This is the first time in years when the theme and ingredients clicked for me. Still not a guarantee I’ll finish anything, but still.
