I think there’s a dozen of clever puns about choosing high frontier as last game before leaving but… I’m sorry you’ll miss your friend.
Augh! 92 to 98, his win. Totally legit hard-nosed play, played to the end, did my level fucking best but could not quite catch him in the end.
His future: build a network of “push factories” (beamed thrust) on Mercury, Venus and Io. My future: build a mini black hole at an extremely dangerous black lab site in the asteroid belt.
He got his one turn sooner and had time to zip around the map picking up a few more points. If I’d been a tiny bit more efficient over the course of a seven hour game, I could have maybe tied.
Best, best, best play ever.

Is it still murder to get this game on the market?
I take it hard when a player/buddy moves away. (I always hope it will mean that someone new will float in from somewhere… and it usually does!)
