Well, it’s like any other buy-in, yeah? If you’re into it, then the grind is the challenge, and it’s what drives lots of the emergent play. That’s on me, running it, to sell the situations that come up and make them urgent and relevant.
I’m sure there are players/groups for whom it’ll all feel procedural and boring, or just a bunch of speed bumps en route to the scenes they “actually” care about: big fighty set pieces or whatever. This game isn’t for them!
