Interesting post… got me thinking… is a game like this (for the record I backed the kickstarter in PDF) a better representation of Mexico and a more… responsible… way to game it compared to a somewhat reductive simple skirmish of Army versus Cartel, which I’ve run as miniatures based skirmish games in the past? I fully recognise my position as a white man, and a Brit too with the increased geographical seperation that brings. The morality and to some degree of it the appropriateness of these sort of games interests me deeply. I do sometimes wonder if an accurate assessment is even possible when you have a stake, however minor in the game….
