It’s a pretty fun game. Not sure that it’s entirely balanced though. I found that the Imperials have a much easier time of it, but I haven’t played it enough to form a rebel strategy.

Chris Groff from my one playthrough, the rebels have to play very very uniquely and guerilla-like. That can be tricky to grasp.

So far, so good. I’ve confounded Paul for 3 hours. I’d be doing better if I weren’t a total newb at this, though.

It’s very balanced. But much like the War of the Ring, the military conquest strategy of the evil empire is easier to grok than the guerrilla strategy of the “good guys”
So it’s super nice when the veteran player takes the low learning curve side for himself and let’s his newbie opponent flail in the deep end.

I did that! And I kicked off my game by sending Leia to rally support for the rebels on Alderaan. Then she got captured for the rest of the game. Oops.
