Is the game playing any smoother now that you’ve gone through it?

Yeah, although I got creamed in a “real” scenario. Looks like the bulk of the fun in the game is decoding the characters and what all they can do. Working out combos and such.

Chris Groff a follow-up: there is an excellent two page cheat sheet up at bgg now. I used it last game and it was super smooth sailing.
I also stopped trying to stealth/finesse my way through and ran through a scenario with a straight ass kicker. I have no idea how the characters synergize in multiplayer, but there’s definitely a lot to learn about individual characters as well.
