Yup, the 100$ price tag is a bit of a bummer. I remember pre-ordering Dead of Winter from them three or four years ago – it was just 40 $! (Thank the Asmodee buyout , I guess?)

Any chance that Gen7 already includes a lot of the elements that were sold in the standalone expansion for Dead of Winter? That would justify the price hike.

I’m probably missing something really obvious, but I can’t even figure out if it’s co-op or semi-co-op or pvp or what.

It’s co-op on the surface with secret quests that can make it PVP.

If it’s like DoW it’ll be semi coop. Totally agree that that’s a really badly written bit of hype.
