Everything that comes out for Terraforming Mars has been an instant buy. We got to play with the Prelude expansion and of course it’s really good. Prelude adds cards you get along with your corporation to jump start the opening of the game. And of course there are more corporations too.
TM has gotten so elaborate! We were on the Elysium map, had the Venus map going, everything. I usually kind of hate expansions that add more maps but this one is so good.
Close game too, although I lost at 79 points. First and second were at 87 and 86. So satisfying.
TM was a big hit at Nerdly North, with one game pretty much always on the go in the main hall. I was so heavily booked with RPGs that I never got a chance to check it out, but I think some of my friends own it, so I might try to angle a games night at their place.
I so want to play this. Reading Red Mars (again) in preparation to judge middle schoolers in their Phobos moon base projects…
Jason Jackowski it’s really good, yeah. Lots of good science and some good sci-fi mixed in.
I’m all about the science.. said the dad that dresses his kids in NASA shirts….
We’re right down the street, man. Make a Tuesday free.
Paul Beakley it will be easier if/when my wife’s Funko contract ends. But they keep extending it.
If you’re serious about the science then I need to inflict High Frontier on you. It’s life changing!
Paul Beakley I’ll have to look that up 🙂
