This is one of my all time favorite games. If I had to cull my collection down to 10 board games I absolutely couldn’t part with, AOE III would be one of them.

I just couldn’t bring myself to spend the cash for what amounted to a rebranding and component upgrade, for a game whose components were already pretty sweet.

But I am interested in hearing whether there are any notable game play changes…
